It’s not that Gen Next doesn’t value job security. It’s that they look at job security in a different way than previous generations did. Baby boomers aspired to earn high incomes because forthem, earning a lot of money meant having job security. Gen Next, however, equates job security with things other than income – namely, company support and company benefits. High income is a separate issue, and one that isn’t the main force behind their career ambitions.
